The Mastodons cut into that lead, but the Phoenix still enjoyed a 34-23 advantage heading into halftime. Green Bay was strong from deep in the period, knocking down three shots from downtown to account for nine of its 21 points.

Following halftime, Green Bay continued to expand its advantage, pushing it to 50-35 before going on a 9-0 run capped off by a Kristina Ouimette with five seconds left in the third to expand the lead further to 59-35 heading into the fourth. Green Bay played well near the basket, scoring 18 of its 25 points in the paint.

Green Bay started tacking on points in the fourth almost immediately, going on an 8-0 run, finished off by Jenna Guyer's jumper, to grow the lead to 67-35 with 6:24 to go in the contest. The Mastodons narrowed the margin somewhat before the game was over, going on an 11-0 scoring run, but the Phoenix still cruised the rest of the way for the 73-48 win.
