CLEVELAND, Ohio - For the fourth time this season, and second time in as many days, Valparaiso had Green Bay's number as the fifth seeded Phoenix was shutout 1-0 ending its season in the Horizon League Championship.

Valparaiso scored the game's only run in the second inning with one out. Horizon League All-Newcomer Jessie Marinec grounded out to shortstop scoring teammate KC Boldt.

The Crusaders allowed Green Bay only four hits while striking out 10 Phoenix batters.

Green Bay finished its season with an overall record of 27-20 while Katie Cooney (East Moline, Ill.) finished the season pitching 13 complete games (12-11).
