GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – After leading the Phoenix to victory in its final match of the season, freshman Sidney McClain has garnered the Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week award as announced by the league office on Monday morning.

McClain scored both of Green Bay's goals in the victory over league-rival Cleveland State on Saturday, with each of his goals coming in the first half of play against the Vikings. McClain's efforts were aided by Audi Jepson, Tyler Swanner and Jeremy Nji who each picked up an assist in the contest.

McClain's contributions also helped the Phoenix win three of its final four games and claim victories in consecutive conference matches over Valparaiso and Cleveland State.

It's the third weekly honor Green Bay has garnered this season.
