SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay men's soccer team opened the 2016 campaign on the road this evening, taking the field at Allison South Stadium in Springfield, Mo., for an evening kickoff with Missouri State. The Phoenix (0-1-0) managed to turn away all of the Bears' shot attempts until early in the second half, as Missouri State found the back of the Green Bay net in the 52nd and 53rd minutes. Eight members of the Phoenix squad saw the first action of their Green Bay careers in tonight's contest.
