LOUISVILLE, Ky. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay softball team (1-9) closed out the Red & Black tournament in Louisville, Ky., against Bowling Green on Sunday morning, falling to the Falcons 4-1 in the tournament finale.

Bowling Green 4, Green Bay 1

The Falcons put four runs on the board in the third inning, with four of Bowling Green's five hits in the game coming in the third. Bowling Green had not allowed a hit until the bottom of the seventh, when Allie Taylor stepped up to the plate and belted a home run to left center.

The rally, however, ended with Taylor's homer, as Green Bay fell to Bowling Green, 4-1.

The Phoenix will return to the diamond on March 10 against Drake and Kansas in the Sunflower State.
