GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay men's soccer team entered the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Great Lakes regional rankings at No. 9 this week after securing its third win in Horizon League play.
The Phoenix is now 3-0-0 in league play, marking the first time since the 2006 season Green Bay has opened league play unmatched. Most recently, Green Bay traveled to Wright State and claimed a 2-1 double-overtime victory at Alumni Field.
Audi Jepson has led the attack for Green Bay all season and leads the team with six goals through six games, averaging a nation-best one goal-per-game.
The last time Green Bay appeared in the regional rankings was in the 2011 season.
Green Bay takes the field tonight at Cincinnati against the Bearcats with kickoff slated for 6 p.m. (CT).
