ROCHESTER, Mich. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- After taking a lead into the break, Green Bay was outscored 51-37 in the second half on Saturday afternoon at Oakland, dropping its second-straight road contest 90-78 at the Athletics Center O'rena. The Golden Grizzlies (8-11, 4-2 HL) shot 56 percent from the field, while Green Bay (9-9, 3-2 HL) was led by
Kameron Hankerson's 19 points in the defeat.
GB led 41-39 at the half, with both teams shooting over 50 percent in the first 20 minutes. Oakland was lifted by a career-high 33 points from Karmari Newman and hit 10 of its 22 3-point attempts as a team.
The Phoenix will look to stay perfect at the Resch Center when it returns home next week Thursday/Saturday to host IUPUI and UIC. Thursday's game against the Jaguars will be a Bud Light Night and Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Night.
