GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- Sandy Cohen III scored 26 points and
JayQuan McCloud added 21 to help Green Bay get back into the win column with a 90-85 win over UIC at the Resch Center on Saturday afternoon. The win snaps a 3-game losing skid for the Phoenix (10-10, 4-3 HL), which will play four of its next five games on the road.
With 2:17 left in the game, Cohen blocked a shot before dishing out an assist on a 3-pointer from
Kameron Hankerson that GB up 87-82. On the next possession, Cohen hit a tough 3-pointer to put the Phoenix up 90-82 with 1:00 left. GB held on from there to get the home victory.
GB will make the Northern Kentucky-Wright State road trip next week, starting with the Norse on Thursday night (Jan. 25).
