Phoenix in the Pros: Catching Up with Men's Soccer

GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- The Green Bay men's soccer program has a rich history of success, and for many members of the team, their success on the field doesn't end upon graduation. GB has a number of former members playing professionally in various leagues around the world, and you can check in on some of them below.
Tosaint Ricketts
  • League – Lithuania, A Liga
  • Team – Süduva FK
  • Rickets was a member of the Toronto FC until last season and was a major factor in them winning the MLS Cup in 2017
  •  Ricketts began his professional career with Myllykosken Pallo-47 in 2009. He appeared in 51 matches scoring 14 goals in all competitions during his time with the Finnish club. Ricketts joined Romanian club Politehnica Timioara in November of 2010 where he appeared in 26 matches scoring seven goals in all competitions. Ricketts signed with Vålerenga Fotball of the Norwegian Tippeligaen in August 2012, where he remained before joining Sandnes Ulf in early 2013. He departed Sandnes Ulf in September 2013 and signed with Turkish First League club Bucaspor Kulübü. He appeared in 28 matches scoring nine goals in all competitions. Ricketts signed with Israeli Premier League club Hapoel Haifa on July 2014 and remained with the club for one season. Ricketts returned to Turkey and signed with Boluspor on August 2015, where he made a combined 18 appearances and scored one goal during the 2014-15 season.
  • INTERNATIONAL: Ricketts has earned 55 caps for the Canadian national team and has scored 15 goals. He made his debut for Canada on February 9, 2011 in a friendly match against Greece. He scored his first goal for Canada during a 2–2 friendly match against Ecuador on June 1, 2011 at BMO Field. In addition, Ricketts has represented Canada at the 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup tournaments.

Jordan Dover
  • League – USL Championship
  • Team – Pittsburgh Riverhounds
  • Heading into the 2019 campaign, Dover prepares for his second straight season with Riverhounds SC.
  • Playing his first year with the club in 2018, Dover started 29 of his 30 games played and finished second on the team with 73 tackles. The wingback scored two goals, including his first career professional tally against FC Cincinnati on April 21 at Nippert Stadium. As a member of the Rochester Rhinos in 2017, Dover started 19 of his 23 regular season appearances and both of the club's postseason matches. Including postseason games, the defender tallied the fifth-most interceptions (46) and tackles (50) for the USL side on the season. Prior to signing his first professional contract with the Rhinos, Dover competed for Durham United FA of the semi-professional League1 Ontario in 2016. The Ajax, Ontario, Canada native finished fourth on the team in minutes while logging one goal and one assist in 16 appearances


Kyle Ihn
  • League – USL League One
  • Team – Lansing Ignite
  • Lansing Ignite FC has announced in January the addition of goalkeeper Ihn ahead of the 2019 USL League One campaign.
    The 6-foot-2 netminder spent the 2018 USL Championship season with Reno 1868 FC.
    Ihn becomes the first goalkeeper named to Miller's side for the 2019 season and is the seventh player overall to be announced ahead of the inaugural USL League One regular season, joining Xavier Gomez, Rafa Mentzingen, Christian Silva, Kyle Carr, Nathan Lewis and Steeve Saint-Duc.

JC Banks – (Green Bay Phoenix Hall of Fame Member)
  • League – USL League One
  • Team – Forward Madison FC
  • Banks was drafted in the first round (8th overall) of the 2011 MLS Supplemental Draft by Toronto FC
  • Banks scored the only goal against the Tampa Bay Rowdies during the Second Round 1-0 victory in the U.S. Open Cup (5/16). He also scored two goals against Boca Raton FC in the club's highest-scoring match. Banks secured the win against Palm Beach United by scoring the third goal of the match (6/27). He scored two goals and assisted the first of Kilduff's two goals in the 2018 NPSL Sunshine Conference Semifinals (7/11).

Tony Walls
  • League – USL League One
  • Team – Chattanooga Red Wolves SC
  • Chattanooga Red Wolves SC announced on Tuesday it had signed former USL Cup champion Tony Walls for its inaugural season in USL League One, pending league and federation approval. In 2012, Walls' professional career began with him being selected at the 46th pick overall to Chicago Fire in the 2012 Supplemental MLS draft. He started in all 16 matches for the reserve team that season. In 2014, he signed with USL Championship's Rochester Rhinos and was named the club's defensive MVP, leading the team in minutes. Walls captained the Rhinos in 2015 and led his team to both the regular season title and USL Cup – the second team in league history to do so. Losing only one match over the course of the regular season and USL Cup Playoffs, Walls started every contest but one and posted four goals and two assists, garnering USL All-League First Team honors. During his last season with Rochester in 2016, Walls tallied one goal and one assist. More recently, Walls competed for the Championship's Saint Louis FC over the 2017 and 2018 seasons. During his time with Saint Louis, he appeared in 41 matches, totaling 3,207 minutes played, and posted two goals. Additionally, he led his team in passes and pass completion with 82.2 percent in 2017. In 2018, he played a role in helping team to the USL Cup Playoffs for the first time in club history.

Audi Jepson
  • League – USL Championship
  • Team – Saint Louis FC
  • Saint Louis FC announced the signing of midfielder Austin (Audi) Jepson for the remainder of the 2018 USL season, pending USL and U.S. Soccer Federation approval. Jepson was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin and developed in the FC Magic Red system before playing with FC Milwaukee's U.S. Soccer Development Academy teams.  He attended the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay where he made 69 appearances and scored 25 goals and was named the Horizon League's Offensive Player of the Year as a senior in 2017.  Jepson then joined the Des Moines Menance in the PDL and made 16 appearances and scored six goals with six assists during the 2018 season
