What to Expect
At bat, Green Bay is led by
Bailey Schultz and
Kalyssa Koehn. Schultz, a junior, holds the highest batting average of .375, 56 at-bats, 21 hits and 7 runs over all 17 games. Koehn, a sophomore, has notched two home runs and has 7 RBIs. Sophomore
Kayla Schwebke is at the helm of the pitching staff with a 3.82 earned run average and a 4-3 record.
Most recently, the Phoenix were defeated by Kansas in a three-game series, but earlier in the season Green Bay impressively took down Big Ten member Iowa 6-4, proving that they have the ability to be a force in the Horizon League this season.
Wright State has amassed a higher overall win percentage so far this season, but were swept by Detroit Mercy in their conference opener last weekend. Rebekah Lenos is their top hitter with a batting average of .343, 70 at-bats, 24 hits and 20 runs throughout 27 games, while Madison Whitaker's 20 RBIs over 23 games may also be a threat. On the mound for the Raiders should be Olivia Otani, with an earned run average of 3.75 and a 5-8 record.
