INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- The Green Bay softball team is coming off a strong week on the diamond, posting a 4-2 record in two league series last week including a sweep of IUPUI at home. The performance of
Morgan Bihun was a integral piece of the success, as the sophomore posted a .571 batting average through six games.
Bihun led the Phoenix offense this past week in league play, hitting .571 while going 12-for-21 at the plate and owning a slugging percentage of 1.048. She finished with five RBIs in the six games and hit a pair of doubles as well as two home runs. Bihun finished a perfect 5-for-5 in Green Bay's 12-inning matchup with Northern Kentucky to close out the series.
Green Bay returns home this weekend to face Detroit Mercy, with the series opener slated for Friday at Circle tap at 4 p.m.
