GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- The Green Bay softball team (12-26, 7-14 HL) will host the Youngstown State Penguins (22-27, 10-9 HL) this weekend at Circle Tap in the final series of the regular season for both teams. The three-game series will begin on Friday at 4 p.m. and finish with a doubleheader on Saturday at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
Green Bay's three seniors will be recognized on Saturday, as it will be their final game played at home as a Phoenix.
Marjorie Sloan,
Jenna Smarzinski, and
Emily Madeiros will celebrate their careers with a ceremony prior to the first pitch at noon.
Friday's pairing will be the final game of the GB Gear-Up series, with trucker hats being handed out the first 400 students in attendance. A free bus will provide transit to students interested in making the trek to Circle Tap, with the bus departing the Community Center at 3:15 p.m. and returning to campus after the game.

Green Bay currently sits at eighth in the Horizon League standings with a 7-14 conference record. Youngstown state ranks third in the conference with a 10-9 league mark. Green Bay has experienced a recent power surge, hitting a home run in both matchups this past Saturday.
Crystal Guzman and
Morgan Bihun each added a four-bagger to their season totals.
Youngstown State got swept by UIC this past weekend, losing all three games. Lexi Zappitelli leads the Penguins with a .299 batting average.
