Green Bay Goes 2-0 on the Day, Securing Victories over St. Norbert, MSOE

GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- The Green Bay men's tennis team secured victories over St. Norbert College and Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) today, both by the final score of 9-0.  Head coach Rob Oertel agreed to DIII scoring format, which means all three doubles matches account as one point along with the six singles matches.

Against St. Norbert, Green Bay took No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 doubles by the score of 8-2, 8-1 and 8-0 respectively to begin the day.

During singles play, Kentaro Mizushima secured No. 3 singles first for the Phoenix 6-0, 6-0.  Ivan Radomirovic and Satchel Benn followed Mizushima in No. 4 and No. 1 singles by the scores of 6-0, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-0 to earn points five and six to officially claim the victory for Green Bay.

Following the win over St. Norbert, Green Bay played their second match of the day against MSOE, dominating from start to finish again.

All three doubles teams earned the first three points of the match.  The No. 2 pairing of Dipin Wadhwa and Lachlan Napier won first for the Phoenix 8-0, followed by the No. 3 team of Ivan Radomirovic and Teddy Razafindratsima, who also won 8-0.  The No. 1 squad of Satchel Benn and Kentaro Mizushima finished up doubles with an 8-5 victory.

Radomirovic and Razafindratsima won No. 4 and No. 5 singles for Green Bay, both by the scores of 6-0, 6-0, to earn points four and five to give the Phoenix their second win on the day.
