GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Tom Barry Invitational will go down as the first-ever collegiate cross country race held at the newly opened Shorewood Cross Country Course. Sophomore Kelsey Radobicky took home the first place medal on the women's side and led her squad to a first place while sophomore Riley Siltman took first on the men's side as the Phoenix finished in third place.Â
WOMEN'S RECAP
Radobicky ran away with the win in the first race of the day, finishing with a time of 19:29.63, nearly 15-seconds faster than second place. Four other Phoenix runners finished in the top-12 with Alicia Kawa (7th), Kyra Flesvig (8th), Lyndsay Sass (11th) and Grace Beyer (12th). Just outside the top-5 were Claire Wood in 23rd place and Hannah Wilcox-Borg in 28th. The Phoenix finished with a team score of 39, while Ripon came in second with 78 and St. Norbert took third with 95.Â
MEN'S RECAP
Siltman won the men's race by about 3-seconds with a time of 19:57.84. Teammate Clay Taylor took third with a time of 20:06.34 and the Phoenix' top-5 finished out with Riley Volkman (22nd), Colton Hansen (23rd) and Matthew Klumpyan (45th). Other finishers included Kevin Gonzalez (41st) and Bryce Legois (45th). Green Bay took third place with a team score of 86 while MSOE won with a 52 and Ripon took second with a score of 60.Â

On Friday, Sept. 9 Green Bay will host the Green Bay Phoenix Open at Shorewood Cross Country Course starting at 4 p.m.
