GAME 1 | Green Bay 7, Robert Morris 5
Hailey Heckenlaible ignited the Phoenix offense in the first inning with a solo home run to take a 1-0 lead. GB followed that up with a run in each of the second, third, and fourth innings. The second inning run came from an Aidyn Messmann RBI double, the third inning came from an RBI single from Sam Saloun and the fourth inning run came off the bat of Bella Herman, who singled home Kendal Herschbach to take a 4-0 lead.
The Colonials were unable to scratch the scoreboard against Phoenix starting pitcher Ava Schill until the bottom of the fourth inning, where they scored two runs to make it 4-2.
