GREEN BAY, Wis. – Saturday morning the Green Bay Cross Country teams opened their 2024 campaign at the Tom Barry Invite hosted by St. Norbert at Phoenix Alumni Cross Country Course at Shorewood.
Noah Jahnke set a course record for the Tom Barry Invite and took home the top spot in the men's 6K with a time of 18:47.8, while Kelsey Radobickey highlighted the women's team with an eighth place finish in the women's 5K.

The Phoenix men took the top spot as a team while the Phoenix women came in third place. This year's race was the 49th annual Tom Barry Invite for the men, and 48th annual race for the women.
MEN'S RECAP
Jahnke was outstanding and led the Green Bay men, crossing the finish nearly 30 seconds faster than second place (19:14.4). Green Bay had six of the top ten finishers in the race.
Riley Siltman finished third with a 19:18.8,
Cameron Weiland finished fourth with a 19:20.7,
Matthew Schmoll finished seventh with a 19:38.2,
Ethan Onesti finished eighth with a 19:45.3, and
Carter Scholey rounded out the top 10 crossing the finish line in 19:54.9.
WOMEN'S RECAP
Milwaukee's Anelise Egge took first on the women's side, with Concordia's Ainara Sainz De Roz taking second, and Milwaukee's Cailin Kinas rounding out the top three. Radobicky's eighth place finish (19:38.3) led GB, with
Ava Lorenz not far behind. Lorenz finished two spots behind Radobicky in tenth, crossing the finish line in 19:44.9.
Ellie Smith (20:40.3, 24th),
Lyndsay Sass (20:43.8, 25th), and
Lia Peterson (20:57.7, 27th) rounded out the top five finishers for the Phoenix.
COMING UP
The Phoenix will be right back at it once again next Friday at the Phoenix Alumni Cross Country Course at Shorewood for the third annual Phoenix Open starting at 4 p.m.
