GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Green Bay men's soccer team fell to St. Thomas 2-1 in a non-conference match on Tuesday evening at Aldo Santaga Stadium. Green Bay jumped ahead early, but the Tommies scored two unanswered goals to grab the win.
Tuesday was Senior Day for the Green Bay men's soccer team. GB recognized

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Phoenix lead was thanks to a
Noah Madrigal goal in the seventh minute. After a long cross-field ball from
Rayme Nyembwe found
Keegan Walker, Walker found the head of Madrigal, who scored his fourth goal of the season. That lead held for just about thirty minutes, until Yanis Lakhlifi brought it back even in the 37th minute.
St. Thomas broke the 1-1 tie on a goal from Alejandro Giner in the 60th minute, which was assisted by Mathis Guffroy. The Phoenix had a good chance to tie it after a red card was given to Giner just five minutes later, but the playing field was evened when GB's
Justin Arias was also given a red card in the 82nd minute. The Phoenix offense had some chances to equalize late, but the UST defense and goalkeeper Cameron Olszewski held strong.
GAME NOTES
- Madrigal had a game-high five shots.
- Green Bay outshot St. Thomas 12-9, but were outshot on goal 6-3.
