GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Green Bay Athletics department has announced that former Phoenix women's basketball player,
Callie Genke, has joined the staff as a Graduate Assistant for Development and Compliance.
Genke will assist in multiple areas in the athletic department, including ticket operations, development, and compliance. Some of her primary responsibilities will include collaborating with the Assistant AD for Development
Jesse Smith on special events to fundraise for Phoenix Athletics and assisting with and compliance-related projects, helping to promote a NCAA rules and regulations.
"We are thrilled to have Callie join the staff working in Development, Special Events, and Compliance," said Smith. "As a successful Women's Basketball player at Green Bay and part of a winning culture, she will be an excellent asset to the team. Callie is a strong communicator, innovative, and dedicated individual who will provide great value to help our department rise!"
The Freedom, Wisconsin native played four years for the Phoenix women's basketball team. In 2024-25, Genke averaged 8.8 points per game while shooting 43.9-percent from three point range. She was named the Horizon League Sixth Player of the Year in 2023-24.

Genke graduated from Green Bay in the Fall of 2024 with a double major -Bachelor of Management and Marketing. Genke graduated from Freedom High School in 2021.
