INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Green Bay swimming & diving finished day three at the Horizon League Championships on Friday, with both teams sitting in sixth place heading into the final day tomorrow.
Nora Hansen and
Mia Pagel both competed in the Consolation Final in the 100 fly, finishing 15
th and 16
th respectively with times of 58.66 and 58.84.
Zoe Challant finished 10
th in the 400 IM in 4:34.95. On the men's side,
Chris Aristondo finished in eighth place in the Championship Final of the 400 IM with a time of 4:01.78.
Mackenze Barnett and
McKenna Metropulos both raced in the Consolation Final of the 200 free, finishing 10
th and 12
th with times of 1:53.17 and 1:54.42 respectively. On the men's side,
James Lemus finished 13
th with a 1:39.04 while
Stefan Tica came in 16
th with a 1:39.85.
Another Phoenix competing in the A Final was
Ella Schultz, who finished sixth in the 100 breaststroke with a final time of 1:04.32.
Quinlan Schroeder made the Consolation Final on the men's side, finishing 11
th in 54.71.
Pagel also competed in the Consolation Final of the 100 back, coming in 14
th place, touching the wall in 57.48. In the same event on the men's side,
Zacha King finished seventh with a time of 48.53.
