GREEN BAY, Wis. - Shannon Demrow (Algonquin, Ill.), a junior on the Green Bay women's swimming and diving team, has been named the Horizon League's Women's Swimmer of the Week for the period of Nov. 30-Dec. 6. It marks her first weekly honor of the season and the second of her career.

Demrow recorded a pair of individual victories in a triangular meet against Northern Iowa and Iowa State on Saturday. The junior recorded winning times of 2:10.06 and 5:09.53 in the 200-yard butterfly and 500 freestyle, respectively. Demrow was also a member of Green Bay's second-place 200 freestyle relay (1:39.26) squad.

The Phoenix men's and women's swimming and diving teams are now off from competition until Jan. 16 when they host UIC at the Dorschel Natatorium. The women's squad ends the fall slate with a 10-1 record, while the men's team heads into the winter training trip at 6-2.
