June 10, 2010 – Soccer
fever is in the air with the world preparing for one of the biggest sporting
events in four years as the World Cup kicks off June 11 at 9:00 a.m. in South
Africa.
Green Bay men's soccer coach Tom Poitras sat down with Green
Bay Press-Gazette writer Weston Hodkiewicz to give his expertise on what to
watch for during the World Cup, “If you were to combine the Super Bowl and
March Madness, that's how big the world cup is to the world of sports,” said
Poitras.
Poitras will also appear on several sports talk radio shows
Friday morning sharing his scouting report on the spectacle that is the World
Cup.
