MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - The Green Bay men's team defeated Valparaiso 6-1 on Saturday
at the Northwest Athletic Club in Michigan City, Ind., to improve to 8-4 overall and 2-0 in the Horizon League.
The Phoenix swept the three doubles matches and took five of the six singles matches in the win. Junior
Paul Swanson (Coon Rapids, Minn.) won at No. 2 singles, defeating Valpo's Chris Baum 6-4, 7-5, then teamed up with sophomore
Craig Cox (Surrey, England) for an 8-1 win at No. 3 doubles. Cox also won at No. 3 singles, beating Kevin DeHerrera 6-1, 6-1.
The Green Bay men's tennis team is back in action on Saturday, March 26 when it takes on Cleveland State at 4 p.m.
