GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - For the fourth time this season and fifth of her career, No. 12/9 Green Bay (19-0, 9-0 HL) women's basketball senior Julie Wojta (Francis Creek, Wis.) has been named the Horizon League Player of the Week for her recent performance. Wojta averaged 17 points and nine rebounds in Green Bay's wins at Butler (8-12, 4-5 HL) Jan. 26 and Valparaiso (5-15, 1-8 HL) Jan. 28.

In Green Bay's 60-36 win at Butler, Wojta poured in a game-high 15 points while dishing out a game-high five assists in 25 minutes of play. With her 15 points, Wojta cracked the top 10 career record list in scoring with 1,333 career points.

Following her performance at Butler, Wojta also added her name to the record books after her double double performance in Green Bay's 65-37 win at Valparaiso (5-15, 1-8 HL). Wojta poured in a game-high 19 points while grabbing a game-high 10 rebounds, posting her 10th double double of season. Wojta's 10 rebounds moved her into 10th on the career record list for rebounds with 700 career boards.

Wojta is just one of seven players in Phoenix history to be in the top 10 career record lists in both scoring (1,352) and rebounding (700).

"To see my name on the lists with those that are on it is humbling," Wojta said. "It's pretty neat to think about the numbers but I really won't stop to actually think about it until my career at Green Bay is done."

Green Bay begins the second half of its Horizon League schedule Saturday, Feb. 4 as it hosts Milwaukee (6-13, 2-7 HL) at 7 p.m. at the Kress Events Center, tipping off a three-game homestand. The Phoenix hosts Detroit (10-11, 6-3 HL) Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. before hosting Wright State (14-7, 7-2 HL) Feb. 11 at 2 p.m. at the Kress Events Center.
