The win ensured the Phoenix sole possession of its first regular season conference title.
Green Bay will be the No. 1 seed in next weekend's Horizon League Championship in Indianapolis and will face the winner of fourth-seeded Wright State and fifth-seeded UIC on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. CT.
The Phoenix clinched the match's opening point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. Michael Tenzer (Neuried, Germany) and Joey Leto (Downers Grove, Wis.) first defeated Detroit's Mike Basha and Michael Cheung 8-2 at No. 3, and seniors Erik Finkenbrink (Duelmen, Germany) and Craig Cox (Surrey, England) battled past Alex Latosinsky and Cesar Serrano 8-6 at No. 1.
