GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- The Green Bay men's basketball team found itself within a possession of tying the game late against Indiana State on Friday afternoon, but the visiting Sycamores made their final seven free throws to ice the 78-74 win at the Kress Center. The Phoenix (1-1) trailed by as many as 13 points before coming back to within one with a minute to play. Indiana State's Jordan Barnes made six-straight free throws in the final 1:15 and converted a jump shot before finishing with a game-high 29 points to lead the Sycamores (1-1).
 
Green Bay was led by senior Sandy Cohen, who finished with 16 points, six assists and six rebounds. The Phoenix shot just 7-for-31 from 3-point range, while ISU finished 7-for-13. 
 
GB will now hit the road for four-straight games, starting with a tough road trip to B10 member Iowa on Sunday. Tip time is set fo 2 p.m. and the game will be streamed on BTN2GO for a fee.
