GREEN BAY Wis. - The Green Bay men's tennis team was able to knock off Cardinal Stritch on Saturday afternoon, 4-3 after winning doubles and taking three singles points away from the visiting Wolves.
GB won two of the three doubles points, before picking up three more winss in singles play. Florian Kraenzler won at No. 1 singles, while Charlie Croxford and Ivan Radomirovic also picked up victories for the Phoenix.
"It was a good battle the entire match, with Florian and James both coming back from down two breaks to get the win," head coach Tim Dean said. "Single we started fast and Ivan played solid consistent tennis and Charlie really played smart the entire match. Good team win for the guys."
GB will play Toledo tomorrow in Milwaukee.
