West Lafayette, Ind. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) ---The Green Bay men's tennis team competed in the Purdue Fall Invitational this past weekend.
The squad finished strong, winning five out of six singles matches on Sunday. Freshman
Satchel Benn and
Sam Dobbs both went 3-1 to lead the way for the Phoenix. Following the invitational, Benn is now 6-1 so far this fall, while Dobbs is 5-1.
The pairing of freshman
George Botha and sophomore Dipin Wadha, along with the duo of
Satchel Benn and senior
Lachlan Napier were the bright spots in doubles for Green Bay, each finishing 2-1.
Overall, the team finished 17-16 in both singles and doubles matches.
