Grand Forks, ND (GreenBayPhoenix.com) ---The Green Bay women's tennis team were defeated today on the road against North Dakota.
It was an unfortunate rough outing for the Phoenix, with truly none of the matches going in their favor.
In doubles play, the No. 2 pairing of
Mia Melnizki and
Kaori Terunuma fell 6-2. The No. 3 team of
Shreya Chakraborty and
Theresa Tebon pushed the Fighting Hawks but ultimately saw the same fate, falling 6-4 to give North Dakota the first point of the match.
Singles went the way of the Fighting Hawks as well, with them securing all six spots.
