INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Green Bay men's and women's swim and dive team competed at day one at the IUPUI House of Champions Event Thursday.
 
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• Max Boehnlein won the 200-yard IM with a time of 1:49.66.
  • Boehnlein is the first Green Bay swimmer to win an event at the House of Champions.
• Sebastian Smolecki finaled in the 200-yard IM
• Ben Redman finished 2nd in the 50-yard freestyle with a 20.05.
• Jeremiah Mansavage, Didac Silva, and Carson Beals also finaled in the 50-yard freestyle.
• John Burnard finaled in the 500-yard freestyle
• The men's 200-yard free relay, made up Redman, Sliva, Beals, and Mansavage took second overall with a finals time of 1:22.03.
• The quad of Mansavage, Boehlein, Rafe Dolan Peterson, and Redman swam in the 400-yard medley relay and took third overall with a final time of 3:18.88.
• Miles Rohrbaugh and Andy Groebner both scored in platform diving. Rohrbaugh finished with 216.70, and Groebner had 106.50.

 
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• Kaitlyn Sims finaled in the 200-yard IM
• The women's 200-yard free relay took sixth overall with a time of 1:37.51. McKenna Metropulos, Kaleigh Gale, Sofia Orellana, and Jacqui Rude made up the quad.
  • Rude anchored in 23.86
• Esther Oswald, Faith Eilertson, Alli Misialek, and Metropulos took eighth in the 400-yard medley relay.
  • Metropulos had an excellent final leg in the relay at 52.82

 
UP NEXT
The Phoenix will continue to compete on Friday and Saturday at the House of Champions.
