MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Green Bay swimming and diving fell just short of their in-state rival Milwaukee Saturday afternoon, 153-141.

MEN
Jerry Mansavage, Sebby Smolecki, Ethan Braatz, and Max Kasal led the Phoenix with a first-place finish in the 200-yard medley. They beat out Milwaukee's leaders by just under one second.
Kasal completed the 200-yard freestyle in second place, less than two seconds behind MKE's Jay Jensen.
Calvin Kremer paced the leaderboard in the 100-yard backstroke, besting the Panthers' Jackson Ahrens by nearly a half-second. Green Bay dominated the 100-yard breaststroke, with the top four finishers boasting the Green and White. Sebby Smolecki, Alex Smolecki, Simon Seel, and Nicholas Phomsouvnah all showed out for the Phoenix with a finishing time of no later than 1:00.47.
Miles Rohrbaugh completed the one-meter dive in first place, leading the way with a score of 328.58.
Kremer struck again in the 200-yard backstroke, finishing first with a time of 1:55.80. Teammate Eli Zimmerman came in second with a score of 1:56.56.
Sebby Smolecki continued a solid afternoon in the 200-yard breaststroke with a first-place time of 2:07.85.
Kasal rounded out the day on the men's side with a first-place completion of the 100-yard butterfly, posting a time of 50.89.
WOMEN
Faith Eilertson had a strong start, notching a first-place completion of the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:06.89.
McKenna Metropulos finished a tight race third in the 50-yard freestyle but was three-tenths of a second from finishing first.
UP NEXT
Green Bay will compete against Wisconsin next Friday, February 3 at the Soderholm Family Aquatic Center in Madison. A trip to Chicago to face UIC will round out the regular season on February 4.
