GREEN BAY, Wis. – A pitching duel between Green Bay softball and Purdue Fort Wayne went the way of the Mastodons on Saturday afternoon. PFW took game three of the series 4-1 and won two out of three games in the weekend series.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Ava Schill was solid for the Phoenix in the circle, striking out eight while allowing four runs. Alanah Jones also pitched a complete game for Purdue Fort Wayne, allowing one run in seven innings.
The Mastodons got on the board in the first inning with a two-RBI single. The Phoenix cut that lead in half in the bottom half of the third with a Kaylin Fahy single to left field that scored Lauren Porter.

Fahy once again led Green Bay at the plate on Saturday, finishing the game 2-for-3 with an RBI. Lauren Porter and Gianna Sanchez also collected hits in the contest.
