GREEN BAY, Wis.
(GreenBayPhoenix.com) - The Green Bay women's tennis team (0-9) hosted
in-state rival Milwaukee (6-5) Friday night in its Horizon League opener,
falling to the Panthers 6-1 at Western Racquet and Fitness Club.
Freshman Stephanie
Londre (Burlington, Wis.) earned the lone Phoenix victory at No. 2 singles after
Milwaukee's Kelly Fritz withdrew with an injury. It marked Londre's third
singles win of 2013.
The match was Green Bay's final home contest until April
6 when it hosts Youngstown State, as the Phoenix will play its next nine
matches away from home.
