HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay women's tennis team (1-18, 0-9 HL) finished its Horizon League regular season on Sunday afternoon, dropping a 5-2 decision against Northern Kentucky (8-11, 3-6 HL).
The Norse clinched the doubles point with wins at No. 1 (6-2) and No. 2 (6-3) before claiming four of the six singles match to win by its final margin.
Junior Jule-Sophie Hermann came away victorious for the second-consecutive day for the Phoenix in the No. 4 flight, as she downed NKU's Sierra Nellessen 7-6 (5), 6-3. Additionally, Green Bay was credited with a win at No. 6 by default.
