Junior
Tallie Piaskowski took on Horizon League foe Agata Jurczak of Milwaukee in Flight B of singles, grabbing a major victory in 6-2, 0-6, 1-0 (10-5). She moved on to the championship round, where she battled a Cardinal Stritch player, but fell 6-3, 6-3.
Newcomer
Evgeniya Malygina competed in Flight C, defeating a UW-Whitewater opponent 6-4, 6-1 in the quarterfinals. She lost to the bracket C champion from Milwaukee in the semifinals, but took third place in the flight over a Cardinal Stritch challenger by default.
Junior
Monika Gredzinski also took on a Warhawk player in the quarterfinals, winning handily 6-1, 6-2. While she was defeated by another Panther in the semifinals, she got the opportunity to play for the third and fourth place spots, taking fourth in a tight match against yet another Milwaukee rival.
In the doubles tournament, the duo of Piaskowski and junior
Theresa Tebon played in the A Flight, taking down a UW-Whitewater team 8-5. The twosome moved on to the semis, where they fell to the Panthers 8-4, but took fourth place overall in an 8-4 battle against a Cardinal Stritch pairing.
The women will travel to Eau Claire, Wisconsin this Saturday, October 13 to play against the Blugolds at 1:00 p.m.
