Box Score GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay women's tennis team (3-9, 0-2 HL) continued their first weekend of Horizon League play this Sunday, dropping a match to Cleveland State (8-7, 2-0 HL), 0-7. 
 
"There were many close sets and matches today, and our 1-4 singles players all had chances to win," said head coach Brian Nelson. "It was a tough opening weekend playing preseason pick number two and four. We're closing the gap though and competing well in every match. I'm excited to keep working hard and see what we can do in the league in the future."

The Phoenix will be on the road in Michigan next weekend, taking on Oakland on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. before turning around to face Detroit Mercy the next day at 1:00 p.m.
