ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Green Bay swimming and diving teams had another successful night at the St. Thomas Invite. GB continued to get impressive results from its freshman class, just one day after three records were broken yesterday.

MEN'S RECAP
Sebby Smolecki did well in the 200-yard IM, taking third place with a time of 1:52.02.
Max Kasal continued his strong start to the 2024-25 campaign, placing second in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.50.
Ethan Braatz didn't finish far behind Kasal, recording a time of 21.16, best for fourth place overall.
Jerett Maalis also had a good night, leading the way in the 200-yard medley relay, helping the Green and White take fourth place. The freshman also took fifth in the 100-yard backstroke, recording a time of 49.38.
Quinlan Schroeder posted a time of 55.84 in the 100-yard breaststroke, good for fifth place.
On the boards, senior
Andy Groebner scored 237.15 points in the one-meter event, good for a fourth-place completion.
WOMEN'S RECAP
Rachel Everson did well again on the one-meter diving board Friday evening, finishing third with a score of 210.05.
Annie Frederickson also picked up where she left off yesterday, placing fifth in the one-meter with a score of 199.60 before taking fourth in the three-meter with a score of 239.95.
Ryann Nutt led the ladies in the 200-yard freestyle relay, with the Phoenix taking fourth place. Freshman
Emily Allen showed out in the 50 and 200-yard freestyles, posting a time of 23.25 (2
nd place) and 1:50.94 (1
st place), respectively.
Esther Oswald paced GB in the 400-yard medley relay, paving the way for Green Bay to finish third.
Faith Eilertson had a good performance in the 100-yard breaststroke event, recording a time of 1:04.66 to finish fourth.
The St. Thomas Invite concludes tomorrow evening, with finals action beginning at 5:30pm central time.
