INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – There were several top-five finishes for the Green Bay Phoenix on day two of the Horizon League Swimming and Diving Championships.
Sebby Smolecki took fourth place in the 200 IM, clocking in at 1:47.42. In the same event,
Chris Aristondo placed 12
th with a time of 1:50.07.
The Phoenix did well in both the women's and men's 50 freestyle.
Emily Allen cracked the top 10 with a time of 23.41, while
Max Kasal delivered for the men with a time of 19.95, good for fourth place. Allen also paced the Green and White in the 200 free relay.
In the men's 200 freestyle relay, Aristondo, Smolecki,
Ethan Braatz, and Kasal combined to take sixth place, just seconds away from a top-three finish. On the boards,
Annie Frederickson took the top 16 in the one meter.
Friday's events include men's one-meter diving, 100 fly, 400 individual medley, 200 free, 100 breast, 100 back, and 400 medley relay.
