GREEN BAY, Wis. – The academic achievements keep on coming for Green Bay Athletics! On Monday afternoon, the CSCAA (College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America) announced that Green Bay swimming and diving are among 781 teams, from 459 institutions, being recognized for the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2024 semester.
The Green Bay women's team, with 35 total student-athletes, combined for a 3.51 GPA, while the men (28 student-athletes) posted a 3.41 GPA.
"Our athletes continue to excel both in the pool and the classroom", said Head Coach Alex Lewis. "Earning this award is a testament to their dedication and discipline. Balancing the demands of collegiate swimming and diving with academic excellence is no easy task, but our team embraces the challenge with a commitment to success in all aspects of their student-athlete experience. We're incredibly proud of their hard work and achievements."
A total of 19,209 students are within the 459 institutions. To earn this prestigious recognition, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) above 3.0 during the Fall 2024 semester. Of the selected teams, an impressive 654 recorded a GPA of 3.30 or higher, qualifying them for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.
