A Phoenix women’s basketball legend, Sue Klaubauf Bodilly played for the Phoenix from 1984-87. She currently sits top 10 in career assists (2nd, 723) and steals (8th, 240). Klaubauf Bodilly was the starting point guard for the 1987 team that placed third in the NAIA National Tournament, and was awarded the NAIA National Hustle Award that same year. She was also named to the NAIA District 14 All-District Team and won the Beth Gantz award. Her Phoenix career didn’t end there, as she joined the women’s basketball staff as an assistant coach as well as a sports information assistant in 1987. After working in athletics for a number of years, Klaubauf Bodilly finished her career in UW-Green Bay’s office of Marketing and University Communication, retiring as Associate Director in 2003 with emeritus status.
