J.C. Banks, forward and midfielder, was a game changing offensive player for the Green Bay Phoenix during the four soccer seasons from 2007 through 2010. His play was dominant, flashy, and effective as he was leading goal scorer in 2007 (6), 2009 {13) and 2010 (12) while also leading in assists in 2009 (10) and 2010 (6). He was thus leader in team points in 2007 (tie 13), 2009 {36) and 2010 (30), the 2009 season being the first UW Green Bay NCAA appearance since 1983.

J.C. was recognized as team MVP in 2009 and 2010. He was recognized additionally with many awards: League, regional and national. In the Horizon League, J.C. was All Newcomer in 2007: 1st team all-League in 08, 09, and 10; and Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year in 2009. He was named to the All-Tourney team on 09 and 10. J.C. was NSCAA Midwest All-region 2nd team in 2009 and 2010. He was named All-American in 2009 by College Soccer News, Goal.com, and Top Drawer Soccer. In 2011 J.C. was drafted in the supplemental soccer draft by Toronto but did not play for them. He played for the Rochester Rhinos from 2011 thru 14 And was team and League leading goal scorer and MVP.
