Jeff Nordgaard led Green Bay Men's Basketball to its peak success during his tenure from 1992-1996. He ranks fourth on GB's all-time career scoring list (1,911), second in field goals made (773) and sixth in scoring average (15.9 PPG) among other accolades. He was named Mid-Continent Conference Player of the Year in 1995-96 and was an Associated Press All-American Honorable Mention. He played in the NCAA tournament three of his four season at GB including on the 93-94 team that famously upset Jason Kidd led California team. Nordgaard was one of only five former Phoenix standouts to be selected in the NBA Draft and went on to play professionally overseas. He was inducted into the Green Bay Phoenix Hall of Fame in 2009 and was the second men's basketball player to have his jersey retired (#33) in 2018.
