Hall of Fame
Mark King '81 has been a critical supporter and leader for his alma mater through both business and philanthropic support. King serves as the current CEO of Taco Bell and formerly as the CEO of both adidas and TaylorMade-adidas Golf Company. He provided philanthropic support with projects like the former TaylorMade-adidas Golf Outing (now Legends on the Links), newly renovated softball stadium dubbed "King Park," and also provides a golf team scholarship since he was a former student-athlete in the sport. In addition, he is credited with the department's apparel deal with adidas which now outfits nearly 250 student-athletes in consistent branding across all sports. King was inducted into the Phoenix Hall of Fame in 2002.
